read 'page 20.16' as ........ section 20, page 16 in that section. might be a typo too, in your book re that page 44. . In my 80 to 89 version of Bentley, on page 20.16, at the top it says' Fuel supply system components, Removing and installing" implying that page 20.16 and 20.17 are useful for seeing how things are laid out. and page 20.18 has the actual 'Fuel Tank Removing, work sequence. " section 20 only goes to page 20.34 , at least in my book, so there's no page 44 in section 20, obviously. and yes....it takes a while to get handy with the Bentley book... after a while though....you get used to it. always be sure to check at the bottom of the page what fuel system or engine they are talking about. section 20, 'Fuel Supply' covers Diesels, Digijet gasoline, and Digifant gasoline, , all similar but slightly different. They do that in the engine section too, so always .....check the bottom of the page for which version of whatever you are looking at. Scott wait till you try to follow those little numbers in boxes on the wiring diagrams. when you finally figure out or find out how those word....it's weird ! Or what I call 'very german.' ----- Original Message ----- From: "Rey Wood" <boscobelle@LIVE.COM> To: <vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> Sent: Friday, February 12, 2010 9:58 AM Subject: Bentley's Page Numbering!
