I believe one of the accessories you can buy for the Honda EU1000 generator is the 12 volt cable. Plugs into a special receptacle and the other end clips to your battery. Provides a way to recharge your battery without need of any invertors.

However, it is designed to ONLY charge your battery, not provide 12 volt load power.

Would make a killer jumper pack. Only drawback is it is a little pricey at $1000. > > Maybe we need KEP to make an adaptor plate to use old Bosch alternators this way? > > Product info; > http://www.christieengineering.com.au/2.5hp.htm > > > US/Canada Manufacturer/distributor > http://www.altenbatterychargers.com/battery-chargers/gas-powered-battery-chargers/12-volt-55-amp-gas-powered-battery-charger.html > > ------------- > > Tiny Honda generator/inverter; > A friend told me about the Honda EX350, a small generator made from 1987 to 1999. > Good for running laptops and small loads in the middle of nowhwere...hard to find now but pretty neat, and very portable... > > http://www.vintage-vee.com/construction_generators.html > (scroll down on this link)
