Adjustable cam sprockets are available for the inline 4s. Autotech might be one place to find those or just google around for tuner parts for VW golf Jetta, rabbit new beetle. Lots and lots of available aftermarket parts. I got a cam for my 1.8liter from Autotech for under $150 that gave me a few more hp and some torque, but the power comes higher in the rpm range, which is fine by me. Not gonna make an inline behave like a WBX motor...thank goodness, in MHO.... I think they offer a stroker crank for that motor...that would give you some "grunt". Don Hanson
