12V generator

This is a really neat idea, a tiny Honda engine mated to Bosch 12V alternator, you run everything off of your vehicles 12V system, when your 12V battery is flat, top it off with this small unit...without having to run your vehicles engine or go through a 110V inverter. Would make a killer jumper pack. Only drawback is it is a little pricey at $1000.

Maybe we need KEP to make an adaptor plate to use old Bosch alternators this way?

Tiny Honda generator/inverter; A friend told me about the Honda EX350, a small generator made from 1987 to 1999. Good for running laptops and small loads in the middle of nowhwere...hard to find now but pretty neat, and very portable...
