I suspect the yanking on the steering wheel part is directly related to the "chimes all the time, for no apparent reason" part, and if you solve the latter, the former will go away with it. You may wish to remove the steering column cover and examine your ignition switch wiring for wear, damage, or monkey business. -- John Bange |
