Dear Trevor, I'm 99% sure those tanks are polyethylene. Good luck getting anything at all to stick to it. I suggest you cast (or cut) a set of threads to fit the spout, or else mechanically attach your valve with a flange and gasket bolted to the bottom of the tank. That would entail cutting through the sheet metal beneath the tank. Yours, David |
