Yeah, 36 hp, those were the days. Wait a minute, that is where the whole engine conversion thing began for VW vans AFAIK. People I knew could not wait to pull those 36 hp turkeys and put in the rock solid 40 hp updated motors. Then those those with the valve burner 1500 wanted 1600. Then some of those wanted Corvair, and here were are, wherever here is. We may have time on our hands but we don't have time on our side. Mark Long live the Zetec
