Thanks, Ken. A local buddy of mine got me the guide pins today. I am good to go as they say. Same local VW place can get me the rebuilt Audi dual piston calipers for $80 exchange for the pair. I just did not want to but rebuilt calipers when mine already were just for the sake of getting 4 guides. Once I discovered the Girling calipers on Vanagons had the same guides, it was easy to find replacements.
