Subject: Somewhat ailing Westy for sale in Bham
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1

An old business associate of mine in Birmingham, Alabama is selling his 85 automatic tan/brown westy.

He bought it about five years ago, when he drove it from Alabama to Las Vegas, piddled with it off and on and finally lost interest. I have seen the car, but it's been a long time. I know there are two main problems with the car: some significant seam rust on the appliance side, and a leaking wintertime-only (for now) head gasket leak.

Besides those two things I problems, the AC doesn't work. The mileage is unknown, the instrument cluster has been through several replacements.

The good: it is a strong runner. Has a gowesty gas tank kit for the crossover stuff. New fuel hose. Gowesty starter. Has a microwave that fits in the pantry. Good compression. New skylight. Big bulb kit (his terminology) headlights. Brakes completely redone. New 3-window canvas. I remember it having nice bumpers and new corner covers.

Asking $1750. His name is Charles, his number is 205 901 2069.

Jim
