I bought specific mildew remover which treats the surface with an anti microbial coating. Some said this also may help my advancing baldness, but hey, I'll try anything once.

I scrubbed the entire underside of my pop-top which worked very well. The fuzz is now gone, but so is the mildew which has yet to return after 1.5 years. Same for my hair.

I must say that this mildew remover/preventer worked a lot better than Colorox bleach I have used before. Now if I could remember the name of the product... there must be some other spray for that. I know I bought it at Home Depot.

I see you have a 2.3 GoWesty. May I recruit you for the 30-50 3rd gear challenge? http://www.vanagonauts.com/30---50-3rd-Gear-Challenge236.htm
