he went out to take a look at it while i was talking with him on the phone. He said it's a 2wd based upon what i was telling him. He seemed quite helpful. But then again, he illuded to them having but one vanagon there..... so if there are several vanagons there just may be a syncro in the stack somewhere.

Chris, why don't you hire some local college student with a wrench to pull stuff? I'm very interested in having some core parts to potentially put together a franken-syncro-franken-westy-franken-sunroof-Bostig-powered-franken-bus. If the price was right i'd buy the whole thing.
