Several previous posts reminded me that the day is Friday and seemingly frivolous posts are permitted. The posts about temperature and different loci on the Blue Planet moved me to offer the following suggestion. I'm assuming that many listees have succumbed to the Iphone mania and the world of the app. Well, there are two stunning (my opinion) apps that share the wonder of what we now know of the sun (see 3D Sun on the itunes app store) and what we know of the universe of which we are a part (Space Images on the itunes wed app store). Both apps are free and could be the gateway for you to see even more of our planet and the universe.
