After a little research (prompted by several polite pmails) I find that what I thought was a problem realy isn't a problem. First, the threads I've seen broken were not because of the "Re:" in the Subject line. But most important the email clients are in fact ignoring the Re:, it is being added by the email software (including mine using Gmail) and apparently Yahoo mail and I assume others. BUT, if no other changes to the Subject line, the thread is NOT broken. Sorry for the earlier post, a little more research on my part would have avoided the confusion I might have caused. Now back to our regular programming? |
