This unit has worked well for me: < http://www2.oregonscientific.com/cat-Weather-sub-Weather-Sensors-prod-Wireless-Waterproof-Temperature-Sensor.html > mounted on the dash and the probe run down along the door jam and attached under the wheel well. I also have matching weather station mounted in the back that it transmits to but I read the temp sender directly when driving. There are other brands on the market but all seem to be about the same, just the price is all over the place. I wouldn't order directly from the vandor before checking eBay, usually chaeaper from someone there.
