And I forgot to mention, my goal was to keep the rebuild relatively in-expensive. The total R&R for my 1.9 is going to come out to be something like $3,400. That engine has new everything too. If the budget was higher I would have gone with a Bostig.

And if my budget was allot higher I'd have a TDI in there.....

It's getting close to time to rebuild the 1.9 in my 85 Westy. Many people tell me that there is a problem getting good parts for the rebuild and that many folks are not satisfied when they do have engine rebuilt. Not being have much knowledge in these maters I am asking for input from those that do. Thank you.
