We just replaced two of our most used incandescents in a camp trailer we are currently inhabiting. Amazing! Now the solar panel is totally adequate, whereas before we ran low of juice quite often. As mentioned, the light is slightly 'colder' appearing but just as bright. I have no source or data about cost or amps, these were gifts from a friend. A listing of available sources would certainly be handy as I plan on doing all the bulbs in my Vanagon when I return to it soon.
