Joy and all, this is one source for a lot of lighting solutions: http://autolumination.com/overhead.htm and that page has several solutions. Browse through their other pages too. On LED vs florescent I agree with what many have said. The bright LEDs are usually a very harsh blue-white light, I have two in a fixture in my rig (and direct replacement LEDs in the stock light). Downside for fluorescents is power draw. Though less than incandescent still higher than LEDs. But, if you snoop around there now are 'warm' LEDs out there. I don't remember if the source above has that option especially in fixtures that would work and fit right in our Westies. I'm still trying to find the right solution for my rig before I start stringing wire and drilling holes.
