Open canoe for whitewater, sailing kayak for flat water; car-top both

hey guys I use to do a lot of white water in an open canoe all up and down east . I have one of nolan whitesells early Pirranha 14ft whitewater canoe. . the 2 whitewater places close to me were great, class 5 runs , Goshen Pass and johns creek. Johns creek drops about 165 ft per mile for 4 1/2 miles . has 35 names rapids, 12 ft drops, crazy names like godzilla meets bambi LOL I could roll it back over with no problem. I also have a folboat sail rig that I addapted to my old town Penobscot canoe and would take sailing out in the sound at the outter banks. that thing was a lot of fun and pretty dang fast. I have always wanted a big sailboat but wife gets seasick. :( later mark d
