I used mine, for all sorts of junk, some of which stayed there for years (yes, including umbrellas, extra garbage bags, paper towels, purse storage, juice from when my son was a baby (those sealed jars), books, tapes for tape player, miscellaneous papers and directions, etc.). Now my son drives my 87, has had the jumpseats in and out but mostly out, and I think they (the trays and the jumpseats) live in his living room much of the time.
