I am slowly getting my van back together after being stolen and recovered last month. I got it back from my mechanic after a week and a half fixing the passenger door handle/latch and the ignition. He had a locksmith re-key the ignition/passengers door so they work with the original key. The new cylinders are very 'tight' and sometimes get stuck going in or out. In fact, today it stuck and pulled out the whole cylinder! Apparently, I'll be making a phone call tomorrow! But I digress......

I started working on putting in a new radio. I ordered a Blaupunkt and it seems to fit. When the thieves stole the radio they just clipped the wires and so I was left with a guessing game of sorts. With the Bentley, I had an easy time matching up the speakers and matched up the wires so that the map light above the glove box, my clock and the illuminated ring around the cigarette lighter are now all working again. I have been left with one grey (thicker) wire. I have no idea what that is for (Ground?) and when I matched up red to red wires for power, I'm getting nothing.

I ran out of daylight and time today so I thought I'd sleep on it and ask for help. HELP! (I searched the archives before attempting this and I thought I had a fairly good idea going in.)
