maybe Van Cafe does, but are you thinking of maybe some other part they sell reproduced in metal, like a cooling system part or two.

I do have one FireStarte Firewall fitting in metal. I suspect it's from an early air-cooled vanagon ....back when they made more parts of metal, and fewer in plastic.

but just bypass the thing ! there is NO reason or purpose for that part to be on the van.
