The wife drive...I wish!!!!!! I do all of the driving and she does the sleeping! Maybe its the fact that she's German from Germany and anything short of autobahn speeds bore her but I don't think its that. She'd just rather rest and zone out and not deal!

Back in the early 90s my girlfriend and I had an 82 diesel with an 87 westy interior I installed. I did 95% of the driving. After a while, as the relationship deteriorated, in that same degree it seems, she wanted to drive more. I REALLY didn't want to let her drive - no reason other than it was "my" job.

I think that my attitude contributed to our eventual separation. I'm curious how other "GUYS" handle their spouse/girlfriends wanting to drive the bus???
