These two products are excellent for sealing up everything on the waterboxer.

I have used Loctite and Permatex versions of the same 518. Both work very well. I have not had a leak at the rear heater core flange since using this product.

The Right Stuff seems to be the answer for head gaskets.

It's now Permatex 51813, maybe your confusing 51531 http://www.permatex.com/documents/GasketMakerSelector.pdf

The tube is blue but the stuff is red.

That with The Right Stuff is all I use in the shop.

Where, mostly on coolant flange on top of using the cheap Reinz paper gasket.
