you have to remove the whole dash.     i have done it  without removing the
dash, but it involves much swearing and lacerations and  many hours and a
tiny right angle ratcheting socket wrench w phillips  bit and tiny pliers.
and that's only because i had one  already removed as a guide so i knew
where those speed nuts and screws  were.  if you dont know where they are, you
wont find all the fastners and  youll just end up ripping them out of the
dashpad.  just the whole  dash.


i have some good brown vanagon dashpads w/  no cracks.. but they are  still
installed in the parts vans..   pulling a vanagon dash is not  something i
wanna do right now w/ a broken foot..
