There is a date code on your tire. If the tire is older than 10 years take it off today and buy a new one (rightmost digits are 01 or 00). If it is less than 6 years the manufacturer may give some leeway on replacement. The old tires are just IPEDs (improvised pneumatic explosive devices) and should be treated as such. You can make planters like one sees in MX before the cartels and put cactus in 'em or if they're not steel belted make some fine huaraches. Also check your spare's date code. If you have a silage you can use em to hold down the tarp. Pretty much all the old shoes are good for.

Goofle is your friend here, look for tire date codes.
