As the situation was explained to me, men, especially young men, have no
more accidents than do women, but due to (theoretically) higher testosterone
levels, when they have accidents, they tend to be much more destructive and
expensive.

Is Stephanie a better driver than me?  Maybe.  She's different.  She's much
more the type A personality.  While she has faster reflexes and better
vision, she tends to tailgate and cut things a bit too close for my comfort.
When I'm driving, I'm constantly hearing about how, if I was in the other
lane, we'd be able to pass all those cars, etc.

|the methodology used in arriving at that conclusion. Did the writers of the
|study just review insurance data and decide that because men had more
|tickets and accidents than women, that women were better drivers, or did
|they actually review data broken down by miles driven?
