My '91 has upholstery that looks like that in the photos except for color (gray instead of tan). I would call mine velour, too. Mine also looks like new, despite 150K miles, and my van lived in Arizona for most of its life. I have thought it was pretty durable stuff. Not generally true? DMc

all 85 up westy GL full campers (and most other '85 up GL passenger vanagons) had the velour.

the 85-86 westy weekender had the corduroy. thank god vw only used it on that one model.

the corduroy doesn't hold up well.

i have a '84 wolfsburg which had the blue corduroy.. 90k original miles and the seats were shredded.
