If I'm thinking of the same spot on tank..... When I pulled the tank on my air cooled, I found a mound of dirt/w.h.y. in that valley. http://sites.google.com/site/tubaneil2/HolyGasTankCrud.jpg Possibly a rust prone spot depending on conditions etc. Possibly more so on an air cooled with the big heat duct pipe running along that valley just itching to hold dirt/moisture against the tank.
