Subject: Did this GL suffer a small engine fire?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Was checking out an '86 GL on eBay and got a kick out of the salesman's pitch for the van.

"A FEW SPOTS" to describe bad body work and numerous dents.

"THE INSIDE LOOKS BRAND NEW OTHER THAN THE SMALL PIECE OF LINER FALLING IN THE BACK." A bit?!?!?!? I suspect it's falling down due to an engine fire, at least judging by the burned upholstry on the back seat. It's odd that the only picture out of focus is the one of the engine.

He obviously doesn't know Vanagons as he states "THIS IS ONE YOU COULD BUY AND NOT HAVE TO INVEST A LOT OF MONEY TO MAKE IT PERFECT". :-)

He did seem awfully impressed that he could get it up to 85mph!
