hi, In my experience 85 Weekenders and Westy's have springs that are too tall in the front. Seriously dislike that look myself. I put in springs from an 85 GL in my Weekender and it came out just right -looked level and normal.

Carat sprigns are lower ...by about a half inch I beleive, front and rear. You 'could' put those in front and rear and have a slightly lowered 85 Westy/Weekender. If you just put in front Carat springs I think you'd end up with a lowered-in-front raked vanagon.

I just got some 84 GL front springs for my 85 Westy GL and I expect it to be just right with those springs in front.
