What a silly mechanic. You, the customer, had to "talk him into" doing what finally got your van running properly? Or is it you who're a bit silly, taking the time to 'school' this mechanic about a few things he seemed to already know it all about? I think if it were me, I might look around for a more agreeable mechanic. After all, you pay him the money...and he is supposed to do the work..Where is the debate in that... If he's so opinionated that you have to "prove" to him that he's wrong on stuff...New Mechanic? please don't take offense at this post...I just have a low tolerance for Primadonna" mechanics..
