Here's a link to the desert ......might be perfect in another week or 2 or 3....kinda like those "leaf-peeper" folks in New England....but a Vanagon is perfect for all seasons that's for sure!!

Also an extrem ice chest or marine grade cooler with better insulation
will keep it frozen longer
Some chest rated at 5 to 7 days to keep ice cold so these should keep
ice cream frozen for 24h
Thank you for the Anza Borrego Desert idea I was tired of Los Angeles
beach , I may be heading to the desert this weekend
