Bunch of stuff. First, to eliminate the #@% cigarette lighter plugs for some items I use in my WEsty. But also for other applications where I use 12v stuff, like the drive system on my telescope mount, etc. I want a connection that solid and will not pull out if a little tension is accidentally put on the cord. I find cigarette lighter plugs, for many reasons, to be very unreliable and finicky. I use Anderson Power Pole connectors where practical but they don't do everything. |
