Well, your talking about a MUFFLER, whereas we were talking abut the ENTIRE exhaust system, front header, rear header, J-pipe, CAT, muffler, tail pipe, hangers and hardware. And yes some defects can affect stainless exhaust systems, but any time it can be proved to be a manufacturing defect it will be repaired free of charge. AND, yes I realize there is the removal, re-installation and postage to worry about but all in all it's a better deal and less worry some overall.
