Thanks, you're welcome and yes it was worth it! Re: '85 Vanagon. My Bentley, sez: radius arm changes Nov. '84, but newer style brakes from '86+. Have a look around the archives. I can't recall, but it may be that the newer front brakes AND radius arm started at the changover in '85. IF so..... Radius arm is an easy visual check. It threads into the lower control arm. The newer brakes are a better design. Neil.
