I put it (or a substitute) along the complete floor of my van. If I were do it again, I'd use the thinner stuff and not the thicker stuff as is is very heavy and adds a lot of weight to an already underpowered van. Whether it made a difference or not, I have only subjective input. But Yes, I think it did cut down on the noise & vibrations during driving, but I have not acoustic numbers to back up what I THINK my ears hear and the seat of my pants feel. ymmd. M
