Hi,m I tried it both ways with my home made bleeder. I found pros and cons both ways. the con with putting fluid in the press bleeder is that I had left over fluid, a fair bit, that really shoudl be chucked out. The other way, if you use smaller bottles of fluid, you don't waste so much. Stopping to top up van reservoir is a bit of a pain, but not as much as you'd think.
Either way, the homemade press. bleeder is a boon.
