I recently got rid of the flat-prone highway tires on my gowesty 16's and put on Hankook RF10's in 225/70r16 (basically their version of the BFG T/A KO). The 225/70 is about the smallest you can find in 16 and it requires significant removal of metal to keep from slicing the tire up on the front fender edges.
