No.

VW I4 typically installed using a stock DV clutch housing to mount engine at 50*. You can also use an adapter i.e. KEP. Another twist on things. It seems there is now a Suby clutch housing made that bolts to Vanagon transmission. I think some advantages being that one can use a Suby starter, clutch, flywheel etc. A Suby drivetrain from head to toe so to speak. Neil.
