You've just answered part of the question I was about to ask Ken. What would it cost to get the aftermarket bumper rechromed when they are still new?

Same time ago, Overland was offering an aftermarket bumper which was of thicker gauge than the factory chrome/black bumpers. They only offered it in a Hammerite finish. I have not seen them for some time though. At one point, I thought they were perfect candidates for rechroming.

Third thought: Has anyone thought about rhaving the SA steel wrap-around bumpers chromed? It might be an interesting retro look.
