fellow Victorian vanagon owner was having problems removing the stock
lighter from the dash. Seeing as I had a spare lighter hanging around
I took some pics for him to show how the two main parts of the socket
come apart in order to remove the socket.

its been covered before on the list, but I figured some more pics/
info couldn't hurt, it is a puzzling bit of engineering when you
first try to remove the bugger.
