Thanks for the tips on this. I'm pretty sure it is the TC seal, the oil is slinging out the vent openings in the bellhousing. Probably damaging my fairly new coolant hoses on both sides of the engine. The Transmission stop leak products work by softening/swelling seals. I never would have believed they could work until it happened to me. Several years ago when I had the big leak, I pulled off and watched as enough oil drained out to create a puddle about 10" in diameter. Limped to the nearest auto parts store in clouds of smoke (the oil drips on the exhaust header.) Another puddle there. Put the stuff in and drove another 20 or 30 miles or so to camp at the Walmart in Oakland, WV. In the morning there was just a tiny puddle. Over the next hundred miles it stopped leaking entirely.

My mtn climbing technique now is to put the trans in 2 and hold the rpms at 4000.
