I was thinking of pump cooling not long ago. During my last trip through hotter climes, pump was getting louder. In particular noticed this after refueling, restarted, at idle. Pump noisier than normal. Likely due to heat affecting fuel in tank, (contributing to pump cavitation?) but I wondered if pump itself was being affected by ambient temps. Pump is almost new but fuel tank has the smaller ID outlet. This doesn't help.

In terms of cooling, I wondered if having the belly pan off would help.

As per Davids comment, he beat me to the punch. (my browser quite before I could post!)

Could one use a Bosal DV type exhaust hanger (isolater)?
