Well how do You know ? I have only been around cars for 10 years and have not yet seen one truly corroded stainless.

This is something where most of the cars are so heavily under engineered that it sometimes makes me irritated beyond imagination. It is the most obvious part of the vehicle to corrode and You can do very little to prevent it. I would not even think about putting in something else than good grade stainless. It is way too much hard and unneeded work to do something about it and thus easily goes unfixed until inspection. By then its already catastrophic. Don't get me wrong, I like welding and soldering vehicles and stuff, but rotten exhausts ? No thanks. And I don't want to pay someone to do it either. Oh.. but ceramic coatings, please.
