your van has the later style sliding caliper ... only one piston, and the caliper slides on pins ... making sure it can slide nicely on those pins if very important.

I'm sure everyone knows this trick... on all brake work, always only do one side at a time. that way ...if you wonder how something fits you can look at the other side.
