Hi,

I have the gowesty aux battery setup in my 85 Westy AT.  I think my starter
battery is dying, but I just put in the aux battery and it's fine.  We just
had a cold snap here and the van won't start.

Is it safe to start it by hooking jumper cables across from the aux battery
to the starter, or will that fry the system that is keeping them isolated at
all the right times, etc?
