I'm sorry if this is a stupid question to follow up the original stupid
question, but, aren't the negative teminals are already in contact with each
other through the chassis?  It seems to me that connecting the black to neg
post on live battery and then to the frame is the same has having the ground
strap from the aux's neg post to the frame?
