I watched a new Bosch Air Flow Meter go for $160 on eb*y last night and wondered as the timer counted down two things: could I afford to invest in a spare part I don't seem to need right now? How could I afford NOT to invest in such a prized and important spare part at a ridiculously good price?

I hope somebody on the list got a good score. I didn't bid it up; you're welcome.

Cheers, Peter
