Nose of the van might not be so good place for this, depending whether You prefer Good Surface or Good Looking Surface: there are probably several small cracks in the paint from thousands of small rocks hitting the front, so high pressure water might take some chips off the paint. In my book this means that it was time for new paint anyways, as I prefer not to have any cracks in the paint, even if they are not yet visible. They will make themselves visible anyways over time.
