Things don't stay the same, and the engines are far more reliable long-term than the wbx. And the power output puts all of these other options to shame, except 1.8T and the TDIs. Yeah, I'm sure you'll point out your 'issues' with those too. But all great engines that work fantastically in the vans, otherwise why would so many be going this direction?
well Karl seeing as we work on these and at this time have 2 foresters with blown turbos sitting here with just over 100K on them, I have to say yes.They have made them even more expensive and harder to work on.Variable cams now. I am not sold on having a lot of power, just seems to cause more problems. I am not sold on the 1.8T motors and I have no problems with the TDI except for costs. I think a lot of people just want more power and don't think ahead too far. Hope you are doing well, How is kelly? later mark d |
